I particularly like the ArtUK site, as you can do a keyword search and find out where pictures are held across the UK. For example I discovered an artist I’d never heard of who has done some meditations on Jonah being swallowed by the whale, held in Gwynedd (not a place I’ve visited).
Another favourite is the Vatican Museums site which includes a virtual tour of the Sistine Chapel, for example. There’s nothing like a bit of escapism when you’re in lockdown, though mingled with sadness given what Italy is going through right now.
