The Last Five Years

Natasha Mallett shares details of a virtual musical she’s been busy marketing, broadcasting this Saturday!

Quarantine has meant the loss of extra-curricular activities for many Oxford students – something we always looked forward to after a long day of work, and something we often took for granted.

00Productions have been working tirelessly during lockdown, to create a piece of musical theatre entirely in quarantine!

I’ve been working as the Marketing Director for their production of Jason Robert Brown’s musical, The Last Five Years, which was originally intended to be the St Anne’s garden musical this year. This has been my “extra-curricular” during the vac and the start of term, and its been such a fun thing to do that’s different to essays and going for state-approved walks!

Cast, crew and band have been working from across the globe to create this show, and there will be a one-off broadcast of it this Saturday, 9th May, at 7:30pm.

Tickets are only £3 and can be bought from www.00productions.co.uk/tickets – I hope this will bring some Saturday night entertainment in times like this!
